The Stockroom Clerk identifies, sorts, and prepares electronic components and mechanical parts for use at prototype and volume assembly operations.
The Stockroom Clerk is responsible to:
· Pull material from stock shelves for kits
· Perform material transactions in MRP system
· Direct material to designated jobs
· Return material from completed jobs to assigned stock room locations
· Component preparation for through-hole components using component forming tools
· Seal components stored in moisture barrier bags using the heat sealer
· Transferring components from tubes (or trays) to tape and reel format
· When required, put material in the oven to be dried according to the components MSD level.
· Follow Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures and maintain ESD controls
Knowledge and Skills
· High attention to detail
· General knowledge of concepts and practices in the electronics manufacturing industry is helpful
· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instruction
· Good problem solving skills
Basic Qualifications
· High School diploma or GED
· 0 to 10 years of experience in a stockroom handling electronic components
