The Loans Operations teams support all lending activity for Corporate and Commercial clients of the bank across North America, Latin America, EMEA and Asia. The Loan IQ Ops Reporting and Controls lead will be responsible for understanding and supporting the transformation efforts across Loan Operations driven by the implementation of the a new commercial banking lending system - Loan IQ.
This role will require thorough understanding of strategic direction of the lending business as the organization transitions from the historical Flexcube processing environment to the Loan IQ platform. Specifically, the position requires the ability to understand how that transition relates to the Operations team's ability to support business strategy and growth through a system transition, while designing and building new operational, risk and control processes.
This person will be responsible for the design and execution of how the organization supports the numerous operations implementation efforts that are and will be underway with the move to Loan IQ, including identification, definition, design, and documentation of new procedures and process flows based on impact assessments. Linkage of procedures to controls and policies is key. Is also responsible for comprehensive loans reporting plan and implementation for all impacted groups in partnership with Technology. This role will also plan out a global Operations training strategy in partnership with the central training teams and technology.
They will have to develop strong working partnerships across operations functional areas, with business leads, and with numerous technology teams to effectively manage and support the Loans Operations transformation.
Excellent influencing and communication skills required in order to negotiate internally across the business and with technology partners, often at a senior level.

Qualifications
10-15 years relevant experience in financial services or similar industry
Loan IQ operations or technology implementation experience is required
Proven track record in application implementation and system integration across multiple platforms. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes is key
Background and/or exposure to financial operations processes
Strong analysis and documentation skills
Project and program management experience a plus
Strong oral and written communicator
Demonstrated ability to assess complex issues, structure potential solutions, and drive to resolution with operations staff and senior stakeholders.
Team player with strong influencing and partnering skills who can handle strong personalities at all levels of the company
Track record of managing work to achieve milestones on time and within budget in a high-pressure environment
* Analytical, flexible, team-oriented, have good interpersonal and follow up skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
* Technical proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) and industry standard project management tools.
Finance, Business Administration or Engineering bachelor's degree preferred
