Responsibilities: - Provide Compliance production support for client base, including Compliance Testing, Plan Valuation, and Form 5500 completion.
- Assist with the preparation and mailing of Annual Questionnaires and Census Requests.
- Track receipt of information needed to perform Compliance Testing and Plan Valuation.
- Download Financial/Trust Statements as needed for the Plan Valuation.
- Perform Trust accounting on individual brokerage accounts as needed.
- Communicate with Actuaries regarding paired Plans.
- Assist Plan Sponsors with processing Loans and Distributions as needed.
- Promote client retention and identify opportunities to build existing relationships through exceptional customer service and consultation.
- Communicate timely, effectively, and professionally both internally and externally.
- Offer recommendations for improvement in processes and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of Regulatory and Law changes as they affect Retirement Plans and assist in disseminating information internally as needed.
- Help guide Plan Sponsors and Plan Advisors with technical Regulatory Compliance issues.
- Attend industry and Company seminars and webinars to attain/maintain accreditation and develop industry related knowledge.
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Current or goal-oriented accreditation through ABA, ASPPA and/or NIPA
- Prior experience in the Retirement Plan industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Familiarity with Access beneficial
- Prior experience with plan valuation, compliance testing and Form 5500 required
- Familiarity with Plan Provider systems beneficial
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues, set goals and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
