Small local family run insurance agency looking for a full time bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing & Billing

• Vendor Payments
• Customer Collections
• General ledger maintenance
• Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings of the company
• Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly)
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Extreme Organization
• Ability to write a professional letter and email

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Excel
• Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented
• Experience with Insurance Software would be beneficial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour
