Z Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Plan Advocate to join our team. As a Healthcare Plan Advocate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our members to navigate their healthcare plans effectively, ensuring they receive the best possible care and assistance. Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for Z Health members, providing guidance, support, and advocacy to ensure they understand and maximize their healthcare benefits.
• Assist members in selecting appropriate healthcare plans based on their needs, preferences, and eligibility criteria.
• Educate members on their healthcare benefits, coverage options, and cost-sharing responsibilities in a clear and empathetic manner.
• Advocate on behalf of members to resolve issues related to claims, billing, denials, and coverage disputes, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurers, and third-party administrators to coordinate care and address member inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Conduct thorough reviews of healthcare plan documents and policies to ensure members receive accurate and timely information.
• Assist members with enrollment processes, eligibility verification, and renewal procedures during open enrollment periods.
• Document all member interactions, inquiries, and resolutions accurately and maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Stay updated on changes to healthcare laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact member coverage and benefits.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in healthcare advocacy and member support.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in healthcare advocacy, customer service, or related role is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of healthcare insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex healthcare concepts in a clear and empathetic manner.
• Empathetic and patient-centered approach to assisting members with diverse backgrounds and healthcare needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software applications.
• Familiarity with healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance standards is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Commitment to providing exceptional service and support to Z Health members, demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
