Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist/Medical Records Clerk. As a Medical Receptionist/Medical Records Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and confidential patient records. This position requires proficiency in office software and knowledge of medical terminology.

Duties:
- Organize and maintain patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure all medical records are complete, accurate, and up-to-date
- Retrieve and file medical records as needed
- Scan and digitize paper records into electronic systems
- Assist with data entry and data management tasks
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper documentation of patient information
- Follow established protocols for record retention and disposal

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft, or Epic
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
