Storekeeper jobs in Riverside, CA

The County of Riverside's Materials Management Department seeks to fill a Storekeeper position for their Moreno Valley location.
Under general supervision, to be responsible for the receipt, storage, and issuance of supplies, materials, and equipment; to maintain and adjust stock levels; and to do other work as required.

Positions in this class are usually responsible for receipt and storage of tools, supplies, and equipment listed in department inventory. Depending on assignment, responsibilities may also include related duties such as driving delivery vehicles. Supervisory responsibility of this class is normally restricted to stock clerks, clerical personnel, or trusty labor. Those positions that do not include supervisory responsibility are distinguished by greater independence in the storekeeping operations.

Other duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee and guide the work of Stock Clerks
• Ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Assess current workflows and provide recommendations for improvement
• Document any performance issues for escalation to supervisor

Work Schedule: Will be discussed during the interview.
Tentative: Monday – Friday, 5/40, 3pm to 11:30pm (one weekend per month, 9am to 5:30pm)
