▶ About This Opportunity

Job Summary:

7-Eleven, a leader in the convenience store industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Strategy Analyst. This role is pivotal in driving 7-Eleven's growth and success by providing strategic analysis and insights in various areas, ranging from broad macro-economic trends down to competitive benchmarking. The Analyst will collaborate closely with management to identify and address strategic business needs and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer retail industry insights as a thought leader, covering a spectrum of topics from consumer behavior to technological advancements.
• Analyze trends in retail, e-commerce, and convenience store sectors, identifying key drivers of change.
• Conduct competitive analysis and macroeconomic assessments, and support investor relations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to long-term business strategies and tactical implementation.
• Develop and align strategic analysis with Planning Department and leadership across functions.
• Create executive-level presentations and reports for senior management and Board meetings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in research and trend analysis within the retail, e-commerce, and technology sectors.
• Proven analytical skills, adept at data visualization and narrative storytelling.
• Capability to work within global, cross-functional structures, managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in leveraging advanced research tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, AlphaSense, and government statistics websites.
• Strategic, adaptable mindset, comfortable influencing in a matrixed organization.

You Bring (Experience & Qualifications):

• 2-5 years of relevant research experience across convenience store, foodservice, consumer packaged goods, or retail industries. Consulting background is a plus.
• Master’s Degree required; Fields like Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative areas are preferred.
• Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel required; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
