Strategic Planning Analyst assists in the development of long-term goals and strategic objectives for an organization. Identifies, analyzes, and monitors issues that affect profitability, growth, and productivity. Being a Strategic Planning Analyst may be responsible for external corporate communications with industry analysts and the investment community. May also be responsible for recommending strategic alternatives and developing and maintaining operational plans. Additionally, Strategic Planning Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to project leader or manager. The Strategic Planning Analyst works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides a range of coordination and financial services for the Planning and Zoning department. Coordinates the submittal and review for projects/developments submitted to the Staff Review Team (SRT), while serving as the primary point of contact for EnerGov and Citizen Self Service (CSS). Also serves as the coordinator for Boards, Commissions, and Committees as assigned. Manages financial/budget needs of the department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Requires an Associates degree in Business Administration or related field
- Three (3) years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- All applicants tentatively selected for a position with Beaufort County Council will be required to submit to urinalysis to screen for the illegal use of drugs and to background check prior to appointment. Employment is contingent upon clearing both the drug screen and background investigation.
