AST has an exciting opportunity for a Strategy Director to help drive our exciting growth plan.  The Strategy Director has the responsibility to develop an overall strategy to measure, track, and shape the AST product portfolio based on market metrics, product line performance and life cycle. This role will screen and identify product strategies that leverage the breadth of AST capabilities, with an emphasis on driving growth, while maximizing profitability. They will lead the determination of growth areas and where to invest research and development dollars to grow within the market space, as well as identifying areas for targeted inorganic growth that will shape and balance the AST Portfolio.

• This position will have overall responsibility to drive long range strategic planning from strategy through to execution. 
• This role will also be responsible for portfolio and product management inclusive of portfolio and offering strategy to include, identifying new spaces and creating relationships and contacts with stakeholders including, industry bodies. 
• This role will work closely with the AST lines of businesses including global and regional product managers to drive not only demand but also full P&L performance of the portfolio life cycle.
• This leader will have a strong influence on organic and inorganic strategy by accelerating speed to market for innovations and increasing end-to-end customer value.  
• This role will drive the overall strategy and direction for the product or solutions portfolio and be a champion for implementation of agile product and offering development (Z21). 
• A key part of this role with be the development and operationalization of 80-20 methodologies to maximize portfolio opportunities and profitability.
