Strategic Planning Director directs and oversees an organization's strategic and long-range goal planning function. Drives strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals. Being a Strategic Planning Director analyzes emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, the viability of outside business partners, and sources of capital. Establishes and retains relationships with industry analysts and the investment community. Additionally, Strategic Planning Director utilizes data-driven methodologies to analyze business performance metrics and process improvement options effectively. Develops reporting and tools to communicate strategic plans and concepts to leadership. Conducts periodic status reviews of organizational goals and objectives to identify roadblocks to progress. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Strategic Planning Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. SUMMARY
The Cost Planning Specialist is to complete the functions of reviewing cost planning information to ensure it reflects actual process/product condition, identify variances from the cost sheet and lead improvement activity to ensure profitability at SOP on an accurate and timely basis within the framework of the objectives and policies established by the PPCC Executive General Manager and TGKY Management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree in accounting related field preferred or one or more years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Clear, concise written and verbal skills and problem-solving skills required. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of team members.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Computer proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is necessary. The ability to express numbers as a decimal, convert numbers into percentages and from percentages to whole numbers, ability to express numbers as a fraction and perform basic math operations using positive and negative numbers and as ratios or averages. Basic algebra along with knowing the order of operations to solve a math problem.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED WORK HOURS
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
