The
Planning Director is responsible for leading and facilitating Deployed Services strategic planning process to ensure successful execution of contract award requirements aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:

Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive planning initiatives while collaborating across organizational departments to leverage subject matter experts and appropriate resources to establish and maintain operational readiness

Collaborate with internal business partners to create operational plans aligned with the long-term vision, goals, and objectives

Identify emerging opportunities and risks to inform strategic decision-making

Develop short and long-term operational plans in coordination with other department directors and their teams
-
Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress

Monitor operational performance against targets and adjust as necessary to ensure major milestones are achieved on time

Work closely with the Finance Department to develop accurate pricing models and project plans

Identify and assess potential risks to the organization's objectives and develop mitigation strategies

Monitor regulatory and market changes that may impact project plans and adjust planning accordingly and implement processes and controls to minimize exposure and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Knowledge and Skills:

Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Knowledge of timekeeping, record keeping and maintaining data

Organizational skills with the ability to set priorities while handling multiple tasks

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends

Ability to negotiate, influence, and drive change across all levels of the organization

Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and remain flexible under changing priorities and business environments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization

Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred

5 - 8 years proven experience in strategic planning, preferably in a leadership role

English proficiency required, bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
