Strategic Planning Director directs and oversees an organization's strategic and long-range goal planning function. Drives strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals. Being a Strategic Planning Director analyzes emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, the viability of outside business partners, and sources of capital. Establishes and retains relationships with industry analysts and the investment community. Additionally, Strategic Planning Director utilizes data-driven methodologies to analyze business performance metrics and process improvement options effectively. Develops reporting and tools to communicate strategic plans and concepts to leadership. Conducts periodic status reviews of organizational goals and objectives to identify roadblocks to progress. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Strategic Planning Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Strategic Planning Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Job Description : RESPONSIBILITIES Assists with managing multiple brandbuilding projects such as developing brand strategy maps, launch positioning, omnichannel planning, tactical planning, and social and creative strategy. Analyzes qualitative and quantitative research to understand market dynamics and consumer needs to create strategic recommendations for clients Assist in designing and managing qualitative and quantitative research methodology, leveraging Havas partnerships and capabilities Assists with designing and organizing workshops aimed at developing brand strategy and tactical initiatives Conducts research through competitive audits, social listening, social monitoring, current events, and trends to gather insights to inform strategic planning Contributes to the creation and delivery of client presentations including market research insight analyses, social monitoring output, workshop output, and strategic points of view (POVs) Supports primary and secondary research development Performs ad-hoc assignments as instructed by the supervisor IDEAL EXPERIENCE BA/BS in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or equivalent Prior experience in marketing research, healthcare/ communications industry Demonstrated knowledge of MS Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills and attention to detail Strong presentation and communication skills Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast pace and collaborative environment Candidate should be comfortable working under pressure and adapt quickly while maintaining a quality standard of work The successful candidate should be highly self-motivated, proactive, self-learner, solutions-oriented, and creative Contract Type :Permanent Here at Havas across the group we pride ourselves on being committed to offering equal opportunities to all potential employees and have zero tolerance for discrimination.
