HRD224536 – Senior Manager for Strategic Planning

Join a team that has the responsibility to deliver the overall strategy to measure, track and shape the automation business.  As Senior Manager for Strategic Planning, you will work with cross functional business teams to develop a strategic plan (STRAP), collaborate on new growth initiatives, and identify areas for inorganic growth that will shape the future of Honeywell Process Solutions.  The successful candidate will be expected to be a high-energy, creative, and a resourceful self-starter.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for developing and maintaining the 3-5 year Strategic Plan including:
  
  • Portfolio analysis to identify revenue and growth plans by industry / sub-segment
  • Evaluation of organic growth strategies by offering / vertical
  • Fact-based analysis of market trends, competitive data, technology advancements, and customer requirements
  • Develop regional strategic plans for global expansion
• Coordinate development of new growth initiatives with key stakeholders across HPS to refine the strategy, segmentation, and value proposition
• Provide key market insights to senior leadership on competitive intelligence and provide CAPEX / OPEX trends
• Work with broader leadership, strategy, and M&A teams to provide detailed space assessments, outline portfolio gaps, and profitability pools which will be used to develop innovation roadmaps and identify potential targets
• Lead integrated cross functional teams to execute strategic plan
• Build a world class marketing capabilities, processes, and tools to execute on financial results

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related discipline
• A minimum of 10 years of experience leading marketing, strategic planning and growth initiatives. Must possess proven marketing strategic, analytical and implementation skills.
• Minimum of 3 years’ years in management consulting or equivalent strategic planning experience, it is critical that the successful candidate have hands-on experience in developing businesses in unchartered territories, where significant impact/growth was achieved.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Thorough knowledge of market strategies and market development.
• Ability to develop effective technical white papers for internal communications.
