POSITION PURPOSE:
Serves as a collaborative member of the SES Policy Team to facilitate interpretation, implementation, and compliance with federal, state, and district policies. Provides professional development and ongoing support for ECATS and the implementation of policies and procedures. Supports school-based and SES staff through the development and deployment of resources, conducting school audits, providing professional learning, and direct support in creating, monitoring, and documenting compensatory services. Assists with compiling data for Federal, North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI), and SES reporting.

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The position, at times, must be able to come into direct contact with school system staff and staff members. Work is considered light physical work, requiring the exertion of up to ten pounds of force. The work requires driving automotive equipment. Travel may be required to schools, central services offices, and other locations within Wake County.
