Stripper - Materials sets-up and operates equipment that strips paint from steel drums preparatory to repainting. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Stripper - Materials may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Stripper - Materials relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Directs and leads the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.     • Coordinates with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
    • Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise.
    • Keeps up with trends in procurement.
    • Travels to vendor locations if required.
    • Stays current with purchasing technology trends and oversees purchase and implementation, as necessary.

    Qualifications:
    • College degree not needed, but preferred.
    • Must have at least 5 years experience in Purchasing.
    • Must have Florida Driver's License.
    • Wages will be based on experience.
    • Must be able to commute to our Palm City location.
    • Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus.

    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Standing, bending, and reaching during a 10-hour shift.
