Responsibilities:
Complete grease/oil lubrication as instructed on manual and automatic dispensing equipment.
Troubleshoot common lubrication-related procedural and equipment problems.
Change filters and breathers on reservoirs.
Repair common lubrication-related equipment.
Drain/clean reservoirs and gearboxes.
Operate filtration equipment.
Perform inspection of levels of reservoirs.
Replace fan bearing, fan runners, and miscellaneous hydraulic components.
Cover dust collector and leadman position as needed.
Perform oil analysis sample collection.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
High school diploma or GED
Lubrication - 40 hours, method 9 - 3 hours every 6 months, bearing training - 3 hours, oil analysis - 8 hours, vibration analysis - 3 hours, welding - 12 hours.
