Stripper - Materials sets-up and operates equipment that strips paint from steel drums preparatory to repainting. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Stripper - Materials may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Stripper - Materials relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Directs and leads the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Position Purpose:
Essential Scope of Duties:
· Enters data into QAD ERP System from various source documents for the following functions: scrap, receipts, issues, transfers, shipments, etc.
· Performs and maintains an efficient daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly filing system for shipping/receiving documentation and other relevant departmental records in adherence to best practices.
· Oversee and create documents for all parcel shipments utilizing UPS and FED EX. Provide tracking as requested and provide conflict resolution.
· Schedule all OEM outbound freight according to customer specifications.
· Route inbound shipments as needed through 3PL or other requested transport mode.
· Create packing lists and BOL documents for shipments in TMS, record all pertinent information, and close shipments to transmit ASN to OEM customers.
· Execute the routine and specialized methods and procedures pertaining to the shipment of finished goods and other components.
· Track delayed shipments. In the event of damaged, defective, or lost goods, document the issues, report occurrences to supervisor/manager, and file necessary claims.
· Knowledgeability of the processes, modes of transportation, equipment, and required documents pertaining to the import/export of goods.
· Responds to inquiries regarding accounts payable, delivery receipts, receiving errors, etc.
· All other duties as assigned.

Education and Training
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Qualifications
· Two years of experience working in an administrative support environment, with in-depth experience in logistics, warehouse, and shipping/receiving operations preferred.
· Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Capable of coordinating multiple projects concurrently.
· Proficient keyboard /data entry skills with the capability to type up to 55 words per minute.
· Excellent organizational/planning skills required.
· Proactive in making improvements in systems and procedures.
· Embody excellent interpersonal skills when exchanging information with suppliers, customers, and coworkers at all levels.
· Professionalism and integrity to communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization while strictly adhering to policies regarding confidential information.
· Results-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
