    About the Job 

    We have an opportunity for an Outpatient Therapist to provide clinical services. The Outpatient Therapist reports to the Outpatient Clinical Manager for day-to-day supervision and work assignments. In this position, you are responsible for performing a Provisional Assessment for individuals experiencing crisis. The Outpatient Therapist will also provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers. In addition, you will receive crisis de-escalation training, which requires performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. If desired, the Outpatient Therapist will be eligible to participate in our supervision toward licensure program after their successful completion of the 90-day introductory period.

     

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (Full-Time).

     

    What You’ll Make

    $5,000 - $6,500 per month DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired). 

     

    Pay Scale

    • Unlicensed: $5,000 - $6,000 per month 
    • Professional Oregon Mental Health License: $6,000 - $6,500 per month 


    About the Program                            

    Our Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services. The Psychiatric Services Team operates as a branch within the Outpatient Program, specializing in psychiatric, nursing, and medication services.  Psychiatric services are provided both on-site and remotely through telemedicine.


    ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. QMHP employees are also eligible to apply for the Oregon Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program. Central Clinic is an approved NHSC worksite by the Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) for the Oregon Health Care Provider Loan Repayment Program, for eligible licensed employees who apply.

     

    What You’ll Need

    Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration. Eligibility requires:

    • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field 


    If not already registered as a QMHP through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.


    Successful applicants must also have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. 


    Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, sit, stand, walk, reach; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may require the ability to occasionally climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. In addition, you must successfully complete crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
