Stripper - Materials sets-up and operates equipment that strips paint from steel drums preparatory to repainting. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Stripper - Materials may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Stripper - Materials relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Directs and leads the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. Funciones/calificaciones/educación esenciales de repositores:
- Verificar que el camión esté cargado y la carga esté amarrada de conformidad con las normas de la compañía y Departamento de Transporte (DOT, por sus siglas en inglés)
- Descargar, proteger, mover, y ubicar los materiales según las instrucciones del cliente
- Capacidad de levantar más de 70 libras constantemente
- Fuertes capacidades de comunicación y atención al cliente
- Cumplimiento de todas las reglas y reglamentos de seguridad de la compañía y de las normas de OSHA
- Llegar a trabajar puntualmente, cuando esté programado
- Cuando se requiera, participar en inventarios físicos mensuales y/o anuales
- Conocimiento general de materiales de construcción y voluntad de aprender
- Respaldar los valores de nuestra compañía en las áreas de seguridad, concentración en el cliente, trabajo en equipo, integridad y ser la compañía preferida de los empleados y los clientes
- Capaz de trabajar 40-50 horas por semana
- Se podrán asignar otros deberes.
