Stripper - Materials sets-up and operates equipment that strips paint from steel drums preparatory to repainting. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Stripper - Materials may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Additionally, Stripper - Materials relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Directs and leads the work of others. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor/manager. The material handler is responsible for managing supply chain activities in the assigned area at the direction of the supply chain management,
Performs procurement activities for assigned procedural areas in a cost-effective manner using current inventory management processes and procedures,
Communicates product concerns to supply chain management and seeks input or approval from the Clinical Resource Directors for all newly requested items prior to placing an order,
The material handler should be in appropriate business attire prior to the start of the scheduled shift,
Consistently anticipates customer needs and expectations; responds to supply inquiries in a timely and effective manner,
High School Diploma or equivalent required,
Two to three years of supply chain procedural area experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills required
Risk of injury from equipment used in moving a product
Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs,
