Structural Assembler assembles major aircraft structures and subassemblies such as bulkheads, fuselage panels, rudders, flaps, and stabilizers. Prepares parts for assembly by filing, burring, crimping, framing, drilling, and reaming. Being a Structural Assembler receives detailed written and verbal instructions on all work. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Structural Assembler typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Structural Assembler works under moderate supervision. Works from computer generated pictures, wiring diagrams, simple drawings or sketches, engineering drawings, specifications and other written or verbal instructions to perform job functions. May be required to perform administrative, maintenance, stock duties and routing. May be required to perform additional duties/responsibilities.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must successfully pass assembly training school.
May be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 55 pounds.About the Company:
