Structural Assembler jobs in Petersburg, VA
Structural Assembler assembles major aircraft structures and subassemblies such as bulkheads, fuselage panels, rudders, flaps, and stabilizers. Prepares parts for assembly by filing, burring, crimping, framing, drilling, and reaming. Being a Structural Assembler receives detailed written and verbal instructions on all work. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Structural Assembler typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Structural Assembler works under moderate supervision. JOB DESCRIPTION
CSA designer, preferably with experience in heavy industrial
Well versed in AutoCAD, REVIT & Advanced Steel
Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering design techniques
Documentation of each phase of the design project is required and may be transmitted to the customer
Review the details of each completed task to ensure that work and the work completed under his/her direction is error free
Able to maintain the quality of the project in order to provide the customer with a design that is error free
Consider safety in every phase of the design
Meet all design safety requirements such as NEC, BOCA, NESC, customer requirements, and safety statement
Good people skills
