    Duties:

    • Capture results of inspection/observations and report in timely manner • Ensure suppliers/contractors have relevant, up to date codes, standards, specifications, and drawings • Interface with the discipline engineer, construction engineer, field workers and inspectors in a professional manner • Witness and monitor suppliers/contractors work activities, inspection, and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures, Welding Procedures, etc. • Assist review of Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Quality Procedures and all pertained QA/QC documentation prior to commencement of any fabrication / construction work • Able to schedule and monitor ongoing NDE activities • Able to monitor that the correct materials are being used

    Key Skills:

    • Trained & experienced in civil/structural procedures
    • Trained and experienced in surveying equipment
    • Competent in PC skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, & E-mail systems)
    • Knowledgeable in quality assurance.
    • Effective oral & written skills.
    • Effective mathematical skills

    Candidate Qualifications:

      • Industry standard certifications preferred (CWI, API, etc.) • Familiar with AWS D1.1 code • Able to read and interpret construction drawings • Ability to use tape measure, voltmeter, welding gauge’s • 5 years of Piping inspection experience required • Able to work and communicate in a team environment
