Job Details

Structural Engineer (Special Projects)

We are looking for a qualified Structural Engineer for our Special Projects Group that is ready to take their career to the next level. You will have the opportunity to be directly involved in a wide variety of challenging projects including port developments, marine engineering, ferry terminals, shipyards, fish and wildlife facilities, naval facilities, small boat marinas, municipal structures, floating structures, and design-build infrastructure.

We are looking for self-motivated people who are eager to develop design and project management skills and who are passionate about providing exceptional client service.

Education/Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering (with a Structural emphasis)
• MS in Civil Engineering is a plus (with a Structural emphasis)
• PE is required, SE a plus!
• Concrete, Steel, and Timber design experience.
• Pre-stressed concrete and seismic design experience.
• Familiarity with performance-based seismic design, non-linear push-over analysis, and soil-structure interaction analysis.
• Knowledge of ASCE 61-14, AASHTO, IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
• Proficiency in SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, and VBA is preferred.
• An interest in working on a wide variety of non-building related project types
