Who we are looking for: a Concrete Frame(High Rise) Superintendent.
Job Purpose:
The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of Structural projects including client schedules, budgets, relationships and profitability through project completion. The Superintendent will also be responsible for collaborating with the General Superintendent to refine, develop and update project schedules to ensure all criteria are identified and up to date.
Location: Albany, GA and/or Auburn, AL.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- 5 plus year experience in tilt concrete.
- 5 plus years as a project manager in concrete construction.
- Being bilingual is a plus.
- Project schedule and planning through out completion.
- Identify and implement cost and time-saving measures, schedule and lead weekly project team meetings.
- Client meetings and other necessary meetings to effectively complete the project.
- Communicate effectively, work with the project team, keep open communication on the status of the project, and advise if any issues arise on the job.
- Review and execute contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Maintain, update, and review all job costs reports.
- Produce project billings and monitor the collection of accounts receivable.
- Review and approve all project invoices from subcontractors and vendors.
- Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues.
- Meet weekly and communicate daily with subcontractors and vendors to assess project progress, schedule, changes and deliveries.
- Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots.
- Communicate daily with General Superintendent and Operations teams to ensure progress toward the common goal is achieved.
- Attain a thorough and complete understanding of the Prime Contract, all subcontracts, the drawings, and specifications.
- Working with different formwork systems and maintain Client Relationships and Vendor/Subcontractor Management.
- Implement corporate safety program on projects.
- Quality Control plan for the projects.
- Control and Manage costs on the projects and budget tracking.
