We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team!

This dynamic role combines aspects of procurement, purchasing, and supply chain management, offering a well-rounded perspective on our operations. You will play a key role in ensuring we have the suitable materials at the right time and price.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, identify reorder points, and initiate purchases to maintain smooth operations.
• Purchasing & Procurement: Research and source vendors, solicit quotes, compare pricing, and negotiate the best deals. Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Purchase Order Processing & Receiving: Create purchase orders, verify specifications, and track them to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with vendors regarding order status and resolve any discrepancies. Communicate with the warehouse team on receiving times.
• Logistics Support: This position assists with tasks like shipment routing, freight quotes, and coordinating with carriers. It may also involve preparing shipping documents.
• Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate data in our systems for inventory, purchase orders, shipments, vendor information, and take department meeting minutes.
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on inventory levels, order receiving, purchasing activity, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Communication & Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal departments (e.g., sales, production, warehouse) to ensure clear communication regarding supply needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors.
• Prepare outgoing materials for vendors, such as shrink wrap, pallet banding, and loading and unloading with a forklift.
• Scheduling building maintenance vendors
• Keep repair logs for forklifts, strapping machines, and other warehouse equipment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role (or relevant internship).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and order processing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), Google Work Space ( especially Gmail, Google Drive, and Sheets), and a willingness to learn new software.
• Understanding procurement or purchasing best practices is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on occasion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
