Position Overview

The C&S Facilities Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in our Orlando or Syracuse office. This is a great opportunity for an individual to help grow our facilities practice.

The Structural Project Engineer will be responsible for delivery of structural engineering services in a multitude of markets including healthcare, entertainment/hospitality, government, aviation, and industrial projects in the Eastern United States.

Position Responsibilities

• Performs structural engineering calculations, edits specifications, and prepares design drawings
• Familiarity with building codes and engineering design requirements
• Develops construction drawings utilizing Revit as well as provides technical guidance to structural Revit designers in the preparation of design models and detailing
• Assists in developing project structural requirements, conducting field surveys, and developing construction documents
• Coordinates with the other design disciplines in the delivery of structural designs
• Performs services during construction including responding to RFI's, reviewing submittals, and performing field observations

• Utilize safe work practices in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards.

Skills / Education / Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 0-5 years of related experience including skills in structural design of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
• Experience with Revit highly desired
• Beneficial prior project experience on healthcare, entertainment/hospitality, government, aviation, and/or industrial projects
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and works well in team environment
• Occasional travel as a part of project delivery will be required

Estimated Compensation Range: $74,000-90,000/year*

*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
