We are currently seeking an experienced Ironworker to join our team in
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other specifications to determine the layout and placement of steel components
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble steel components using power tools and equipment
- Weld or bolt steel components together to form the desired structure
- Operate forklifts and cranes to lift and move heavy materials
- Use press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal as needed
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects and engineers, to ensure accurate and efficient project completion
Skills:
- Proficiency in using power tools, such as grinders, saws, drills, etc.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Experience with welding techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of basic math calculations for measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and cranes for material handling
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
