We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Engineering Department. This position will use prescribed methods, standard techniques, and practices to perform entry level engineering assignments under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer. Individual must be self-sufficient yet be able to take direction when given.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform structural engineering design for substation and transmission line projects.
• Prepare design calculations and sketches for structures.
• Utilize advanced structural engineering software tools
• Work closely with Detailing Department on drawing specifications
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once

EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Structural Engineering
• 0-2 years of engineering experience
• E.I.T. Certification is preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
• Ability to view computer monitor
• Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
