Shannondale of Knoxville is seeking an Lifestyles/Quality of Live/Activities Director.
The Activities Director will plan, organize and implement a wide range of activities for the residents of Shannondale of Knoxville Health Care Center and WellPark at Shannondale.
The successful candidate must be creative, demonstrate basic knowledge of a wide variety of activities; enjoy working with senior citizens, possess a pleasant demeanor, and work well in a team environment. The qualified applicant must also be familiar with state and federal regulations, annual survey processes and care plan development and coordination.
To qualify for the position, the applicant must possess a minimum of two years of experience in an Activities Director position, as well as certification from a qualifying Activities Director program. Experience working in an Activities Department in a long-term care setting is a definite plus. Applicants must possess a minimum education level of a high school degree, with a Bachelor’s degree being preferred. We will consider an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
