Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Activities Director to join our team. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating engaging recreational activities for our residents. Your role will be crucial in promoting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Duties:
- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities to meet the needs and interests of our residents
- Coordinate and lead group activities such as games, crafts, music, and exercise classes
- Organize outings and special events to provide socialization opportunities for residents
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive environment
- Assess individual resident needs and preferences to tailor activities accordingly
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident progress
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of aging issues, senior care, and nursing home environments
- Experience in recreational therapy or a related field is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute events and activities
- Empathy and understanding in working with individuals with memory care needs
- Proficient in social work principles and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise during activities

Pay: $17.39 - $20.95 per hour
