Student Activities Officer assists in the development, organization, and oversight of the university/college's extra-curricular programs. Sets up social events and has a participatory role in the Greek system, the student government, and student run clubs. Being a Student Activities Officer approves funding for various student activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Activities Officer typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Student Activities Officer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Applicant must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
This is a student assistant position with a starting pay of 14.96 an hour.
