Student Activities Officer assists in the development, organization, and oversight of the university/college's extra-curricular programs. Sets up social events and has a participatory role in the Greek system, the student government, and student run clubs. Being a Student Activities Officer approves funding for various student activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Activities Officer typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Student Activities Officer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Care Plus NJ, Inc. ("CarePlus") is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides comprehensive, recovery-focused integrated primary care, mental health care, and substance abuse rehabilitation services. Our outpatient services are offered on a voluntary outpatient basis to adults and children at over 23 sites, including three outpatient centers (located in Paramus, Fair Lawn, and Hasbrouck Heights), ten residential facilities, offices at three local hospitals, and seven community offices located throughout Northern New Jersey.
Care Plus NJ offers a variety of internship opportunities to students pursuing careers in mental health and related degrees as part of our intern program. We review all internship candidate applications. We have limited intern placements and will place interns accordingly.
