Lifetime Activities is looking for a part-time Assistant Instructor for its location at Pleasanton Tennis Park.
Assistant Instructor Description:
The ideal candidate loves the game of tennis, has an engaging personality, and enjoys helping and interacting with kids of all ages. A willingness to contribute and operate within a team-based environment is essential. Some experience is preferred but training is available for new coaches with the right skill set.Skills, Qualities and Experience:
- A fun, friendly, and welcoming attitude that students respond to is a must
- The ability to communicate effectively to groups of children
- Passion for the game of tennis.
- Limited/no prior teaching experience is okay.
- Strong playing background may justify top rate
- Available for after school and/or weekend work hours
- Patience when dealing with students that are new to the sport
- Ability to follow a lesson plan and safety guidelines
- A good understanding of modern tennis fundamentals
- A strong work ethic that includes being punctual and professional at all times
- Reliable transportation
Willingness to follow all Covid-19 protocols is required.
YOU MUST PASS FBI/DOJ and USTA Safe Play Background Checks
Pay: $22 - $25 /hr
