Student Activities Officer assists in the development, organization, and oversight of the university/college's extra-curricular programs. Sets up social events and has a participatory role in the Greek system, the student government, and student run clubs. Being a Student Activities Officer approves funding for various student activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Activities Officer typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Student Activities Officer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
