Greater Wayne Community Federal Credit Union is a non-profit organization serving its members in Wayne County. We are currently seeking out an individual to become part of our team in Doylestown. Our open position is for a full-time collections manager, working 37-40 hours/week. We are seeking individuals with a professional, positive mindset that can build rapport with the members of our community.
All applicants will be subject to a background check in accordance with state laws. This position is permanent, with opportunities for vertical/horizontal growth within the organization.
Job Duties:
-Make daily phone calls and send delinquent letters to members who are behind on payments
-Work to create potential solutions with members experiencing delinquency on their loan accounts, visas, lines of credit, etc. These solutions revolve around arranging payment plans with members who have failed to make timely payments or are currently experiencing hard times.
-Submit repossession orders, file for small claims court, attend small claims court mediations, attend judgement debtors’ exams, perform wage garnishments for members in which arranged payment plans have not been met or communication with members have been lost.
-Manage Bankruptcy cases by filing proper documentation and ceasing collection efforts upon receiving notice.
-Manage Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Claims
-Manage Credit Life and Disability Claims
-Work with supervising manager to coordinate goals/benchmarks throughout the year
-Process automobile/recreational titles for new loans and closed loans.
-Must have, or be willing to obtain, a Notary Public.
-Must have patience working with troubled members.
-Process incoming/outgoing wire transfers
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
- Assist in managing member service representatives at the branch including tasks such as general problem solving. vault management, etc.
-Assist in loan application processing
-Open new accounts for members
- Must be able to work flexible schedule that includes Saturdays
