Student Union Manager manages the operations of the Student Union in accordance with the university or college's policies and procedures. Responsible for managing all functions including coordinating facility use, administering student services and activities, and ensuring proper safety and security measures. Being a Student Union Manager supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates professional and student staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Union Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Student Union Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Student Union Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Assumes responsibility for guiding, coaching, training, and monitoring branch staff to achieve and maintain a consistent and high level of performance.

    • Ensures branch meets Credit Life, Disability, GAP, Warranty, Credit Card, Checking, Consumer Loans, Business Loans and Mortgage goals as defined by the organization.
    • Develops and implements strategies to ensure branch meets all objectives as outlined in the monthly goals.
    • Ensure staff have training and mentoring to be able to effectively recognize in branch cross sales opportunities, develop relationships and additional business through On-boarding/Re-boarding outbound calls.
    • Effectively manages personnel, ensuring optimal performance.
    • Ensures that the branch is compliant with all governing regulations, especially the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC and the Patriot Act requirements.
    • Assumes responsibility for running the branch smoothly

    Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned.


    Skills & Qualifications


    Education/Certification & Experience:

    • One (1) to three (3) years of supervisory experience
    • Three (3) to five (5) years of financial institution operations experience.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • In depth knowledge of retail operations.
