Where the Chemistry Happens...

This position is responsible for executing condition monitoring of machinery as an integral component of the overall reliability program for the site.  Primary responsibilities include vibration data collection, analysis, documentation and reporting results.  Other responsibilities may also include involvement in troubleshooting and/or Root Cause Failure Analyses and providing recommendations based on equipment condition.

As a Sr. Reliability Specialist, You Create Chemistry By...

• Conducting field data collection on operating machines according to the Predictive Maintenance Schedule or a special request.

• Analyzing vibration data using historical data and computerized statistical and diagnostic tools, document results, and make recommendations based on as-found condition.  Report results to field Operations and to assigned Maintenance and Reliability Engineers.

• Maintaining and managing the equipment monitoring (vibration) database, including Predictive Maintenance schedules, frequencies, recommendations, and follow-up comments from the field.

• Participating in failure analysis and problem solving activities for rotating equipment using vibration data and other equipment condition data.

• Assessing repair quality by conducting vibration analysis on repaired equipment establishing baseline vibration signature.

• Performing witness acceptance testing on rotating equipment that is repaired at off-site facilities.

If you have...

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Level II Vibration Certification from a recognized organization
• Minimum 5 years of experience in vibration data collection and analysis in an industrial environment
• General knowledge of mechanical equipment design and maintenance and reliability activities associated with rotating equipment
