Subrogation Specialist, Sr. is responsible for subrogation activities including the identification and research of subrogation claims. Assists in the recovery of overpayments. Being a Subrogation Specialist, Sr. coordinates with other departments, insurance representatives and members. Processes subrogation, workers' compensation, and other claims where third-party liability exists. Additionally, Subrogation Specialist, Sr. develops cases resulting from beneficiary or provider-initiated inquiries, internal referrals, personal research, or computer-generated reports. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Subrogation Specialist, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. We're looking for a candidate with at least one year of medical administrative experience in healthcare whose duties will include:
Verifying insurance benefits and working with insurance companies to obtain authorizations
Managing prescription requests and completing medication prior-authorizations
Communication with Financial Counselors and insurance carriers
All other administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Must be well organized, have excellent communication and customer service skills and have the ability to multitask and work well in a team environment. This is a full-time position of approximately 36 - 40 hours per week in our Daniel Island, SC office.
Coastal Fertility Specialists consists of five clinical and two administrative offices. We have over 100 employees including NP's, RN?s, 5 physicians, and a complete embryology team all driven to be the best Reproductive Endocrinology practice in the southeast.
