Sr. IT Specialist/ Tucson, AZ/ Salary to $90K plus bonus DOE

My client is seeking a Sr. IT Specialist to join its team! You will handle a variety of projects to support and improve the organization's network systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the networking platform
• Troubleshoot network & system issues 
• Monitor active network and server infrastructure 
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment 
• Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches
• Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
• Document all technical procedures and user guides

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a network or systems administrator
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Have extensive experience in TCP/IP, L2TP, BGP, MPLS, PPP, OSPF Have a thorough understanding of QoS techniques and implementation.
•  A , Microsoft, and Cisco certifications preferred.
• Technical knowledge and experience with the following: VoIP, L3 switching/routing, Network
  management tools, and Cisco routers and switches.
• Have extensive experience with implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Microsoft Server
  environments, Exchange server environments, Active Directory and LDAP
• Have a thorough working knowledge and experience with implementing, maintaining, monitoring
  Cisco hardware and software including routers, switches, Adaptive Security Appliance devices,
  and wireless access points.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• minimum 5 years relevant experience
