Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of substance abuse programs. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and quality of drug/alcohol rehabilitation treatment procedures to achieve standards and objectives. Being a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) partners with community agencies and programs to ensure continuity in the type and level of patient care. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and requirements. Additionally, Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.     Substance Abuse Counselor Requirements:

    • Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
    • Valid state clinical licensure
    • Experience in substance abuse counseling
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

    Substance Abuse Counselor Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of individuals seeking substance abuse treatment.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
    • Provide counseling services to individuals and facilitate group therapy sessions.
    • Address the unique needs and challenges associated with substance abuse recovery.
    • Offer education and preventive services to individuals and groups to promote substance abuse awareness and prevention.
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation standards.
    • Work collaboratively with other counselors, healthcare professionals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive care.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning.

    Pay: $60,000- $85,000.00
