Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of substance abuse programs. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and quality of drug/alcohol rehabilitation treatment procedures to achieve standards and objectives. Being a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) partners with community agencies and programs to ensure continuity in the type and level of patient care. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and requirements.     Program Description: The Natrona County Court Supervised Treatment Program offers a court-supervised, alternative sentencing program to offenders who meet program requirements. The Court Supervised Treatment Program requires the offender (1) to attend regular court status hearings before the Judge; (2) provides a 12-to-18-month structured treatment program; (3) uses intensive supervision and case management to guide defendant progress through the program; (4) requires mandatory and frequent drug/alcohol testing; (5) use immediate sanctions and incentives to modify offender behavior in the program.

    The Court Supervised Treatment Program Substance Abuse Counselorpositionexists to provide professional substance abuse counseling and clinical case management services to individuals who are sentenced into the Court Supervised Treatment Program; must have a combination of experience and education equivalent to a Bachelor Degree in social services, addictions or corrections with a current certification as a Certified Addictions Practitioner (CAP), Certified Social Worker (CSW), Provisional or Licensed Professional Counselor (PPC or LPC), or Provisional Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PCSW or LCSW) in good standing with the Wyoming Mental Health Licensing Board; must have three (3) years of experience working in the addiction field; must be able to perform as a team player in a multidisciplinary work environment; must have experience and comfort working with the substance abusing criminal justice population. Must have computer skills and the ability to collect and manage clinical information. Must understand the ASAM. Must be able to work evenings for substance abuse treatment group facilitation: ASAM Levels 1.0 and 2.1. Must administer the ASI and provide individual, couples and family therapy.

    Role specifications: Must have the ability to maintain emotional boundaries and the capacity to allow clients and staff to make choices; must be able to work with special populations: criminal justice and substance abuse clients; must have the ability to work with potentially unstable and volatile clients; must have physical and emotional stamina to work irregular shifts and hours and tolerate a high degree of frustration.

    ADA: Must have hearing and visual acuity adequate to communicate and listen in a group setting; must possess: manual dexterity, good hand/eye coordination and hearing for daily work. Frequently must be sitting with occasional standing; frequently function in rotation and on-call positions as scheduling requires. Read, write, and speak English. Consistently follow written and oral instructions as well as complete routine tasks independently. Must have ability to lift and transfer twenty-five (25) pounds.

    Pay: $24.50 - $27.00 per hour
