    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve long-term recovery. Your expertise and guidance will make a significant impact on the lives of those struggling with substance abuse.

    Duties:
    - Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the level of addiction and appropriate treatment plans
    - Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
    - Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
    - Utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy
    - Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies to prevent relapse
    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
    - Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
    - Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and best practices in substance abuse treatment
    - Provide crisis intervention when necessary

    Requirements:
    - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
    - Certification or licensure as a Substance Abuse Counselor (e.g., CADC, LCADC)
    - Experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorders
    - Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities and evidence-based practices
    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    - Ability to empathize with clients and provide non-judgmental support
    - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    - Familiarity with data collection and documentation procedures
