Professional Medical Practice, P.C., is looking for a Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) to work in the medical department at the Sullivan County Jail located in Monticello, NY.

This position is Monday - Friday during normal business hours 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Salary Range $45,000 - $55,000.00

• Must be certified as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-T, CASAC, CASAC2)
• Bachelor’s Degree / Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related Human Services degree with a concentration in mental health course work.
• Minimum one (1) year clinical experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to function independently and demonstrating clinical competency
• Ability to gain trust of patients and build a working relationship
