Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of substance abuse programs. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and quality of drug/alcohol rehabilitation treatment procedures to achieve standards and objectives. Being a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) partners with community agencies and programs to ensure continuity in the type and level of patient care. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and requirements. Additionally, Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Position Description:
Wasatch Crest in Kimball Junction, Park City, UT is looking for a passionate individual to work as a substance abuse counselor (SUDC). A qualified candidate will be professional, positive, and caring. As a counselor, the individual will be responsible for running substance abuse groups, charting, and assisting master level clinicians in daily treatment functions. We are looking for someone to help with our residential treatment program. Must have appropriate license or certification as per Utah state law. We are a brand-new women’s treatment facility located in Park City, UT.
Qualifications:
Degree with Utah State License as a SUDC, ASUDC, CSUDC.
Previous mental health/substance abuse experience preferred.
Excellent working environment with growing potential.
Job Type: Full-Time, Part Time
Required license or certification: Utah State License as a SUDC, ASUDC, CSUDC
