Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs the clinical, managerial, and administrative aspects of substance abuse programs. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and quality of drug/alcohol rehabilitation treatment procedures to achieve standards and objectives. Being a Substance Abuse Center Director (Hosp. Op.) partners with community agencies and programs to ensure continuity in the type and level of patient care. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local standards and requirements.     Position Overview :

    Provide individual, group, and family therapy, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing assessments and appropriate mode of therapy to assist clients with substance abuse issues.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Provides individual, group and family therapy
    • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning
    • Provides in-service training as needed
    • Keep accurate records on all client activity and progress
    • Responsible for scheduling individual appointments as directed by supervisor
    • Strong assessment skills
    • Minimal supervision regarding use of time
    • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their loved ones and professionals
    • Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations

    Qualification Requirements:

    Education and/or Experience:

    Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage Family, Counseling, Education or relative field, from an accredited college or university. Two to three years of experience working in behavioral health substance abuse field preferred.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    Professional licensure in the State of Arizona through AzBBHE is required. (Psy.D., LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LAC, LISAC, LASAC, LMFT, etc.)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $56,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
