Job Description Summary:
Supply Chain and Operations Analyst will be responsible for logistics planning and forecasting to ensure the timely delivery of all products to 3PL and customer warehouses. The Analyst will take part in S&OP meetings to assist Operations and Sales and will be a key driver in analysis to support these functions.
Qualified applicants must possess experience in Supply Chain planning, Material Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, and/or Operations. Analysts must also comply with all federal, state, local and company regulations including, OSHA, FDA, EPA and SQF.
Areas of Responsibility:
· Responsible for planning all inbound and outbound logistics of materials and finished goods. Must have experience working with Logistics companies, and analyzing logistics spend.
· Responsible for Material planning and ordering of raw, dry, and packaging materials.
· Negotiating pricing and terms with vendors and suppliers to ensure optimum contracts
· Generate reports and develop analytical models to help facilitate key decisions
· Strong organizational skills required to support operations related to SQF. COA, BOL, PO, etc. management.
· Review and approve/reject PO’s and changes, check for unsent PO’s, track and maintain all PO’s.
· Work with organizational partners to manage inventory, logistics and perform other basic material management functions including inventory controls, warehousing and receiving
· At times, work a flexible schedule as needed: Including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or other relevant areas.
