    Reporting to the Senior Manager of Direct Materials, the Principal Commodity Manager - Direct Materials Sourcing is a critical team member responsible for leading our global strategy in one or more of the following commodities including Silicon, Epitaxy, Chemicals, Gases, Metals and Photomasks used in manufacturing Integrated Circuits (ICs). These commodities reach across hundreds of suppliers and account for over $200 Million in annual spend. Beyond the roles & responsibilities mentioned below, the Principal Commodity Manager leads and drives standardization, identifies, improves, and implements tools, policies & procedures, while supporting sizeable acquisitions and respective integrations. It’s exciting fast paced work with challenges needing the newest technical skills and the talent to culture Best-in-Class Supplier relationships. We’re looking for a proven strategic sourcing leader who is self-driven, highly motivated, and strategically creative. You will work primarily with leaders across Suppliers, front end fabs & wafer foundries, corporate/site planning, R&D and Business Units; this requires conducting negotiations, managing Projects and tracking KPI’s for the organization. We operate in a dynamic environment that requires a matrix organization approach to managing people, processes, and resources.

    Key Responsibilities :

    • Inventory Management: Manage the IO tools including requirements, changes, and outcomes. Perform inventory analysis to identify optimization opportunities based on historic POS data, forecast, yield/supply/capacity metrics, and root cause.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage the Inventory Council, which includes members from Supply Chain, BU, Finance, Sales, and the inventory planner role.
    • Inventory Analysis: Utilize Rapid Response, Blue Yonder, and SQL to analyze where inventory is generated and propose solutions for prevention or sale.
    • Selling of reserves and prevention of new.
    • Financial Record Keeping: Ensure financial records are accurate.
    • KPI Reporting: Project out on dollar and days of inventory throughout the quarter. Bucket into net, SiC, Strategic, and Base.
    • Accountability: Hold input and execution stakeholders accountable.
    • Process Establishment: Establish an inventory planning process with a cadence of activities and actively optimize inventory.
    • Target Setting: Set targets for BU and monitor key Inventory KPIs and drivers for inventory reduction.

    • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management (SCM), data analytics or a related field.
    • 6 Plus years of experience in complex supply chain planning organizations
    • 3 years’ experience in Semiconductor industry
    • 3 years’ experience in inventory control analysis
    • 3 years’ experience in SQL, JDA/Blue Yonder
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and influence other stakeholders to achieve results.
