Supply Chain Director directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods. Develops and implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Being a Supply Chain Director negotiates with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing. Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements. Additionally, Supply Chain Director requires a bachelor's degree. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all Purchasing activities in support of the department and company's objectives. Manage supplier accounts, negotiate and communicate pricing, quality and service concerns. Participate in accessories development/implementation projects, task forces, or team meetings as a representative of the Supply Chain department. Organize and execute plans for obtaining the necessary materials to support production schedules and customer demand. Implement / control inventory phase in & out actions to support product additions, deletions, or Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). Annual spend ~$140M. This position will perform various assigned tasks.
